I was so excited when the free Simplicity pattern I sent away for with a coupon from Adorn arrived yesterday! In a break from my rule about finishing old projects before starting new ones, I immediately cut out the jumper pattern and got started on it using a length of grey corderoy I bought before the holidays:

It was not at all hard to make, and is very comfy. Of course it is not exactly super-chic, but rather perfect for those days when you'd like to put on a cute roomy sack with pockets. It is perfect for wearing over leggings and a long-sleeved tee, or, I'd guess, with skinny jeans too (if I had some).

I really have to step away from this dress kick, since it doesn't leave much time for other crafty projects. I do want to try the jacket that came in the pattern envelope too, but that may have to wait while I do "unfinished project bag" penance...
