As of today, a selection of my handbags is available in the super-chic Fillmore Street boutique My Roommate's Closet! They are there on consignment, and the owner promised to let me know how they do. I only brought four of them, since I didn't want to overwhelm her (and I need to keep a few for Feria Urbana!). The one that is unlike anything I've shown you before was this one:

Ok, maybe it is like the little rosebud clutch of the same pattern I showed you before, BUT, it has a secret-- it is reversible:

The color doesn't come out so well, but that is a beautiful pinkish gold dupioni silk that my sister bought me a length of for Christmas.

I made a few other bags, and a bevy of lavender sachets today, and more is on the agenda for tomorrow. I'm beginning to feel a bit of sewing burnout. But once Feria Urbana is over, I'll have a bit of a crafting break, and I'm sure will get fired up again before long!
