I love it when fun mail arrives. This came today from Abby

It is even more fabulous than I imagined. If you must have one too, visit her etsy shop immediately before they are all gone!
My friend Nancy went with me to the spendy fabric store at lunch to get just the right Liberty fabric for my project.

And since my friend Anne asked (yay! i love comments), I'll tell you what I'm planning to do with these little bits and pieces I've shown you.

I'll be embroidering the knight and lady from the last post onto plain fabric, then making each into the front of a cushion cover log-cabin-style with the Liberty fabric. I was going to make them zipper-close, but instead I think I will use buttons so I can make covered buttons of the pretty fabric. It goes for $45 a yard, so the back of the cushions will of necessity be a solid color, and the buttons will make a nice accent.

But of course first I have to transfer my embroidery, embroider it, then make a pattern and a mock-up, because I can't afford to make a mistake with the actual embroidery and fabric!
