I've got it bad. All of those magazines, so much excitement, so many possibilites and I'm stuck. Dithering. I pick up one thing, then something else, then... well, as much as I wanted to show you a wonderful, finished something-or-other by today, I've got nothing. Except this

Yet more inspiration overload- I love all this fabric (oh! peachy tulle! must make something fluffy soon). But I can't figure out what to use first let alone what to make with it, you know?

My very favorite is this:

A yummy, soft oatmeal wool embroidered with pink flowers bordered in brown(they could be jellyfish or amoebas, but I think they're flowers). Gorgeous. I bought it thinking I would make it into a lined a-line sleeveless dress, but now I'm not so sure... What would you do with it? Part of me wants to back it with pink flannel and just call it a blanket.

Then there's this neat stuff:

It is line-drawings of flowers, made up of words and letters. I love fabric with writing on it. I think this either wants to be a blouse or a floaty skirt. Not sure yet.

And I totally didn't need this, but look:

A blue and white toile-print cotton voile with the sweetest scenes on it. Do you see the magical doorway and the DUCK?! There is also a castle scene in the print.

So, lots to unfold, stroke, admire and fold back up again. But not a lot of direction. And you know what else? A full 90% (conservative estimate) of my favorite people have birthdays between now and April, so I better at least get on with making gifts. Tomorrow will need to be a list-making day. Time to get serious...
