2005-10-25 * Down with OPD
At any rate, my obsession with Other People's Dogs continues to grow in a frightening fashion. I've never had a dog, I'm not entirely sure I want the responsibility (if good experience with house plants was required on the SPCA application they'd deny me instantly), but that doesn't stop me from being fascinated by the wide range of pups that cross my path daily (a flickr set waits behind the pic of Winston above). I love watching them wait patiently (or not so patiently) for their owners to finish up in the coffee place, or the grocery store, and how excited they get when their owner finally comes back. My FAVORITE dog in the neighborhood is an incredibly cheerful teensy three-legged Maltese. I haven't gotten a picture of her yet, because she is always an in-motion little ball of white fluff hopping around, but I'll keep trying. I mean, if a three-legged maltese can be that upbeat, I can surely shake off the fall blahs to notice and comment on life in this blog. Uh oh- notice how morals creep in when you're not looking?
