There has been crafting going on over here, but it has had to be *stealth* crafting, given that some of my present recipients read this blog.

I'm positive, however, that my eight-year-old niece doesn't, and reasonably certain that my sister doesn't either(Katie, if you're reading, please stop now), so I can show you the presents I've made for them. Both finished and in progress.

For my niece

A Wee Wonderfuls girl elf embroidery all ready to be made into a fun Christmas tote bag (which will be full of silly presents). I don't have holiday fabric that makes me really happy, so I might have to find some, or else stencil/stamp some plain canvas.

And for my sister,

a necklace and earring set in stones of the greenish-blue color that always reminds me of her. I got very tired of wrapping little stones with silver wire, so to finish off the necklace I wired round silk cord and then wrapped the wire ends around the frayed bits to finish it off. Hopefully it will hold up with wear.

Now, off to get a little bit of sun (!)and maybe to the post office to mail off some of the secret presents.
