Today's project was a pair of pants from the free Simplicity Pattern (4097) courtesy of Adorn magazine

Pretty basic wide-leg pants, and I made them out of the remains of the grey corderoy I used for the jumper from the same envelope.

There are certain things I'd like to fix about the pants--I'd like the rise to be a bit lower, and the upper thigh area just the tiniest bit slimmer, but they are quite comfortable and were very, very easy to make. Oh, I also switched the zipper from the side to the back, since I don't like extra bulk at the hip (who does, really?). I also think they'd benefit from cute patch pockets or a bit of jazzing up with some kind of trim. But I will certainly wear them happily with a sweater and pair of boots!

Now of course I'm wondering if I have enough corderoy left over to make the jacket too... but I think that might be a bit of overkill.
