2007-03-26 * Lessons Learned First of all, the first day of boot camp was great. They broke us up into groups by our self-rated fitness level (so if you sign up, don't overestimate your fitness unless you want a real challenge!), and kept us moving for the entire hour. And now I have a new crafty mission- to make a boot camp bag to hold my yoga mat, pair of weights and water bottle, because they are awkward to carry in a regular bag! I thought I had plenty of energy to sew, but I think the blood I needed in my brain was busy with my sore muscles, because I had a little sewing mishap that taught me: Hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow so I can make that boot camp bag before Wednesday morning's class... And hello, have you seen this? An amazing tutorial by splat girl for a Moo Pocket, via Super Eggplant. I recently ordered some moo cards, and I really want one of these, but sewing tiny things drives me totally insane, so I may have to just fantasize.
