Hello Hello! So, not much crafty to report, though I may have exciting news to share shortly (ok, so everyone who reads this knows me and most of you know the news, but anyway). In lieu of news, here is the project I completed today

I have been wanting to try my hand at one of these clippy-strap zip pouches where the clip attaches to the zipper pull. When it is open it looks like this:

What is so clever about these is that they can either be a wristlet clutch (when zipped) or you can unclip the wristlet and clip the bag onto or into some part of a larger tote as a make-up bag or just to carry other small things. I am not thrilled with the proportions (I'd like it longer and thinner), but as I was using a zipper I already had, and the remains of the skirt I used to make Kim's Grandmother's Clutch, I was limited in my design by the materials at hand! I will, I think, try it again when I can find more clips for a reasonable price.

Tomorrow I will (sadly) be away from my sewing machine for the better part of the day, so likely no new things to show! Though I will bring my camera along with me in case there is anything else interesting to share...
